Trying to slow down

My heart is so heavy & aches for this family that said goodbye to their 8 month old son recently. Also, for some family friends who lost their dad in a car accident late last week. I can’t imagine the pain of either. Especially losing a child. I could barely read the whole post through my pouring tears today. It shouldn’t take instances like these to make us slow down & really enjoy what little time we have here on this earth with our loved ones. I make it a point every day to be sure that my family knows how much I love them. But I am really trying to put forth a more conscious effort to sit back & take in these precious moments with my babies.  I am so blessed. And thankful. And ready to go home & hold my babies tight.

They are my everything.

Hug your loved ones a little tighter than before & never forget to tell them you love them. Please keep these families in your prayers as well.

  2. I know, it really makes you think about family, doesn't it. We were devastated on the way to the beach early Sat morning when tehy called us about Rodney Tatum and Jamesies family story is just devastating. I mean, a month ago, he was a helathy little baby boy. So tragic!

  3. I have 5 babies - and i can't imagine it. I can't fathom it. A friend of mine who lost her baby girl the same day she was born told me that everything we think we imagine is exactly what it is....
