Guess What Averly Started Week!

Yep, my BABY started preschool last week! I really didn’t want to start her until she was 3, but she has been begging to go & every time we drop Riley off, she cries to go play. I decided I would do the 2-3 day program so it would give my mom a break sometimes from having to come keep her everyday that I work as well.

Her god-grandmother got her a backpack for her birthday, so she was all set!



She was so proud of herself! Can’t you tell?!

Dada had literally just gotten home & into bed at 7:30 am (he got switched to working nights now. Ugh.) so we had to tell him bye. Ha! Averly was ready to go!



I was proud of myself when I dropped her off because I only teared up a little in the car afterwards. I’m really not ready for this, but I know she needs to be able to socialize with other kids too.
So far she has only been 2 days a week for the last 2 weeks. I think my child is the class bully! And apparently she disrupted the whole class at nap time one day. She is so hard headed & does NOT like to share. Her teacher said she is tough as nails the first day when I picked her up. I think she is gradually getting better though. Yesterday, the first thing she said to me after school was “I shared!!” Bless her little heart.
