I’ll Be Your Honey Bee

Saturday we threw an Engagement Party for my sister & her fiancé at my parents’ house. I based the theme off of Blake Shelton’s “Honey Bee” song & I think it turned out pretty cute! I didn’t want to go overboard with the bee theme so there were just little touches here & there and for the most part it was just a rustic backyard party. I had so much fun getting everything together for them.

 

I didn’t get a picture of the gift table with the actual presents, but this was it before people arrived with the arrangement I made for Jamie.



I wanted to put my own spin on the advice tree that everyone does, so I got a rock pallet that my dad was about to throw away & nailed randomly placed nails to it for people to hang the tags on. It was so much fun reading what everyone wrote.

I also have a plan for this old pallet at the wedding that I can't wait to get to work on!

   

I got my dad to cut some slices of a tree stump for me to set the food on & burn their initials on.

Riley & Averly enjoyed themselves for a while before they had to go to bed. But Riley just couldn’t stand knowing there was a party going on outside that he wasn’t part of & kept sneaking out of bed & coming back out!
